Network Point Price

Many people wonder how much they should reasonable expect to pay for a network point to be installed by a professional company. We have been in the business of installing network cables and network points for over 20 years now and we have seen all types of pricing and came to a solution that we thought was fair and transparent for our clients.

Over the years we have found that some companies were coming in at a very low price per point but upon further inspection we found that many of these companies added additional fees for materials or had very restrictive terms on the length or position of network cables that was not immediately visible to the clients. Often, we were approached later as the client actually ended up with a higher quote once all factors were considered.

Other companies charged a rate that was too low and this resulted in inferior network cables or wall-boxes or an inferior installation by an untrained technician. Needless to say, the client had to then pay again for a reputable network cable installation company to redo the cabling in their premises.

We charge a flat fee of R1000 per network point for 3 points or less in a typical home setting. This price includes all labour and material and we do not need to perform a site inspection beforehand. For a business installation we charge between R550 and R750 per point depending on the number of points required and type of network termination, patch panels, etc.

Our network cable installations are covered by a 2 year warranty on all labour and materials. We do network cable installations in Johannesburg, Pretoria and most of Gauteng. We also do WiFi extensions and installations in Johannesburg, Pretoria and most of Gauteng.
